A Just Cause was founded in 2019 by Barb Sargent who has put her vast show experience to good work in masterminding this show. The show is fueled by Barb's desire to help support Partners In Progress, a sheltered workplace providing meaningful employment for disabled people in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, a business founded by Barb's father and others. Her brother Dan has worked at PIP for many years.
